Big Fat Snare Drum Drums – Accessories Drum Dampeners The Big Fat Snare Drum “Steves Donut XL” 14″ Dampening Pad is designed to easily transform your snare sound giving you a medium beefy thud snare sound with the natural feel of an actual snare head. The BFSD Steves Donut XL cuts the overtone and tightens your snare sound. Its circle cut out in the middle is for snare batter crack. The Steves Donut XL Dampening Pad lowers the fundamental pitch without any hassle which is not possible with tapes and gels. The dampening pad can simply be added on top of your existing snare head and taken off with ease thanks to the thumb cut out. Additionally the Steve Donut XL Dampening Pad features a rubberised gasket for weight stability and balance ensuring it stays securely in place even under powerful snare drum action.
