Description

Drum Dial Drums – Accessories Tuner The Digital Drum Dial quickly and precisely tunes all drums. Instead of using tension rod torque the Drum Dial measures drumhead tension meaning you dont have to hit the drum at all. Measuring tension rod torque is not accurate due to differences in screw tolerances plating corrosion and thread wear. Eliminate those problems with the Digital Drum Dial. Simply place directly on the drum head by the rim and adjust the tension rods to a consistent level. Save time and energy and achieve extremely accurate tunings. The Digital Drum Dial has a simple one touch calibration and a tuning chart with instructions to help you find your feet.

Drums

Drums are the rhythmic backbone of modern music, providing pulse, energy, and structure across countless styles and genres. From acoustic drum kits and marching drums to hand percussion and electronic systems, drums are designed to be played physically and expressively, responding directly to touch, technique, and dynamics.

Acoustic drums are built from shells, heads, and hardware that work together to shape tone, volume, and sustain. Different sizes, materials, and tunings allow drummers to create sounds ranging from deep and powerful to tight and articulate. Electronic drums expand this further by offering volume control, sound variety, and integration with recording and digital music systems.

Drums are used in live performance, recording, education, and practice, making them one of the most versatile instrument families in music. Whether played softly or with force, alone or as part of a full band, drums play a central role in driving rhythm, supporting musicians, and shaping the feel of a piece of music.

Drum Head

A drum head is the playing surface that directly produces sound when struck, controlling how a drum responds, resonates, and projects. It shapes attack, sustain, tone, and tuning stability, allowing drummers to adjust feel and sound to suit different styles. The right drum head makes drums easier to tune, improves consistency, and helps define the character of the entire kit.
