Premier Drums – Snares The Premier Artist 14″ x 4″ Steel Snare Drum produces a sharp focused sound with a crisp attack and a tight dry tone due to its shallow depth and full 14″ diameter. Its 0.8mm Steel shell provides a bright articulate sound with long sustain and a clear cutting attack that easily cuts through mixes. The shallow depth of the snare limits sustain providing a controlled response ideal for precise punchy playing while steel shells offer greater clarity and resonance compared to wood. Steel rims shots are especially sharp and penetrating making them popular for loud high-energy musical settings. This snare features a 24-strand snare wire that provides a crisp snappy attack with enhanced snare buzz due to increasing contact with the bottom head resulting in a brighter more pronounced snare sound. 1.5mm triple-flange drum hoops offer a more open and resonant sound that gives the drum a more natural expressive sound. The included 14″ x 4″ Snare Drum Soft Case makes it easy to transport store and protect your drum with confidence. A 20mm thick padded interior keeps it shielded from knocks while red Premier piping and an embroidered logo bring standout style. With its snug fit durable handle and adjustable strap its a smart secure way to move your snare wherever it needs to go.
