This faithful recreation of the 1930s and 1940s original is crafted with a steam-bent solid maple shell delivering warm resonant tones with excellent projection.Equipped with nickel-over-brass Stick Chopper hoops this snare provides crisp articulation and controlled overtones ideal for both studio and live settings. The period-correct nickel-plated hardware enhances durability while staying true to the drums historic design. Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide each drum is individually signed and numbered inside the shell by DW founder Don Lombardi. A premium calfskin batter head is included ensuring an authentic playing experience straight out of the box. Comes with a custom Radio King snare case for added protection and collectability.
