This thin single-ply head is built from Attacks 7 mil Dynaflex film giving you a bright melodic tone that responds easily to light touches. That makes it a solid choice for pianissimo passages where clarity and control matter. The clear construction keeps the sound open and resonant which is why its commonly used as a resonant head on toms.A pressure-fitted steel hoop holds the head firmly in place even under demanding tuning. The added mass of the hoop also helps extend sustain and tighten tonal focus so notes ring evenly without sounding unfocused.
