Built from a blend of 5mil and 7mil Dynaflex film this two-ply head responds with a lively character that sings a little more than typical two-ply designs. You still get the strength youd expect but with added sustain and a slightly wetter funk-ready voice.Its pressure-fitted steel hoop keeps the head firmly in place even under heavier playing. That extra hoop mass also helps extend sustain and sharpen tonal focus so your strokes feel controlled and clear. Most coated models in the series use Attacks USA-made Dura-Coat specially formulated to bond to the Dynaflex film for a consistent finish. If youre after a dependable head that holds up to regular use without sacrificing tone this is a solid choice for your 13″ drum.
