Description

The EK-50L digital keyboard is all about the entertainment. Enjoy playing absolutely anywhere thanks to the onboard speakers – no PA required; utilise the best-in-class sounds from a multitude of musical genres; play back your tunes on the instrument during practice sessions and performances; utilise automatic accompaniment features. Ease of use is the name of the game here.

Built-In Speakers

A smartly crafted speaker system provides welcome power and projects twice as much volume as its EK-50 counterpart. This allows you to comfortably play small shows without the need for an extensive PA rig. The ability to run on battery power adds further to the EK50L’s excellent portable nature, letting you set up and perform without needing to plug in.

Sound Variation

The EK-50L contains the same depth and breadth of extensive sounds found on the EK-50, with a number of new styles and tones. 87 preset sounds, 24 keyboard sets, 10 backing patterns and 18 preset drum kits are just some of the latest updates available to you. The majority of these are particularly well suited to current day dance music, which is arguably one of the most popular genres around at the moment.

Music Software Included

A complete music software package comes bundled with your EK-50L. ‘Skoove’ aims to develop your keyboard skills, ‘Reason Lite’ helps you to record your own music and ‘Ozone Elements’ unlocks AI-powered mastering techniques. That’s not to mention the range of software synths from KORG themselves and a number of other notable brands. Everything is here to start creating great music from the get go!

Drums

Drums are the rhythmic backbone of modern music, providing pulse, energy, and structure across countless styles and genres. From acoustic drum kits and marching drums to hand percussion and electronic systems, drums are designed to be played physically and expressively, responding directly to touch, technique, and dynamics.

Acoustic drums are built from shells, heads, and hardware that work together to shape tone, volume, and sustain. Different sizes, materials, and tunings allow drummers to create sounds ranging from deep and powerful to tight and articulate. Electronic drums expand this further by offering volume control, sound variety, and integration with recording and digital music systems.

Drums are used in live performance, recording, education, and practice, making them one of the most versatile instrument families in music. Whether played softly or with force, alone or as part of a full band, drums play a central role in driving rhythm, supporting musicians, and shaping the feel of a piece of music.
