This limited-edition model uses a 9mm 11-ply mahogany shell giving you a deep rounded tone that feels instantly at home in acoustic studio and live settings. The shells thicker build adds extra weight to each stroke while still keeping the sound open and resonant.To keep that resonance intact Tama pair the shell with 2.3mm flanged steel hoops encouraging a longer sustain and a broad breathing note. The Linear-Drive strainer offers a smooth predictable throw and the Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon wires add crisp detail without choking the drums warmth. And the outer Tineo ply with its reddish tone and clean vertical grain gives the drum a refined understated look that stands out naturally.
