Earthworks Drum Microphones

The DK7 from Earthworks is an all-in-one 7-piece drum recording package. It contains a pair of SR25 microphones, four DM20 mic's and an SR20LS. RimMounts are also included, allowing you to attach the DM20 mics directly onto your snare drum and toms. The mics can even be stored inside the case attached to their mic clips, saving you time and effort when it comes to setting up and breaking down your gear. 

Build Quality 

Every mic in this kit has been designed and crafted to withstand the trials and tribulations of regular touring – while delivering premium sound in the process. The DM20 can even withstand a direct hit from a drumstick; if that doesn't scream durable build quality, we don't know what does. Each mic can be accurately positioned close enough to your drums without you having to worry whether you might accidentally damage them.

These mics will work just as well in the studio as they will onstage. In both scenarios, you'll get pristine sound, with a clarity that highlights the character and detail of every individual drum. From ghost notes, to cross-stick and more aggressive playing, any style of drumming will be faithfully represented in your recordings. 

A superior cardioid polar pattern across each mic manages to remain balanced over all frequencies. This helps to deliver increased gain before feedback and almost removes any phasing issues. No matter how loud you like to play, you won't risk overloading/distorting these mics, which are designed to handle very high sound pressure levels.
