Gretsch drums have held a place of honor amongst drummers for decades and every new release they put out continues this proud tradition. The Gold series includes some truly stunning pieces including this Mahogany snare with a natural stain finish.

At 14×8 this is a very solid, deep snare with great presence. If you want your snare to be at the forefrunt of your kit an 8″ is the way forward.

Gold Series drums use high-grade materials consisting of boutique-level craftsmanship and appointments. Gold Series snares are designed for the discerning player that is looking to add a new, unique sound to their drum kit.

Dubbed the “Swamp Dawg”, the Gretsch 8-Tube Snare is a multi-faceted drum and a versatile addition to the Gretsch product line. The tuning range is expanded due to the deep 14 x 8″ mahogany shell that, when tuned low, creates an open “swampy”, dark, throaty, “lo-fi” timbre reminiscent of historic recordings from the ’70s.
