The 21" Hybrid Ride

This particular custom ride has been designed with one of Japan's top drummers Akira Jimbo. The 21" diameter was chosen as it provides more projection and overtones than the regular 20" size. As a result, this crash doesn't only give you volume when you're hitting hard. You will hear a rich and singing quality that doesn't degrade at higher volume levels. The unlathed buffed center provides defined stick attack and strong bell tone. This ensures great articulation for your more intricate patterned work on the ride. The Outside edge is lathed which increases spread and crashability, providing the fantastic hybrid quality to this cymbal
