Woods and Construction:

The 6-ply, 5mm maple shell delivers a strong and pronounced low-end, with a punchy mid-range that will cut through a busy mix.  The 12”x7” shell dimensions keep it sounding responsive and resonant, so you don’t lose any snap when playing hard. You can therefore use this versatile snare for a variety of genres and scenarios.

A timeless satin black finish means this snare won’t look out of place in any setup, with the chrome-coloured hardware giving a classy look.

SR700 Strainer:

The SR700 strainer offers you a smooth action when changing the snare wires in on or off position. The tension adjuster firmly locks into place, so that you won’t have to worry about it undoing even if you play super-hard!

Vital instruments tailored to make the gig great, Modern Utility’s five snare models each feature a 6-ply/5mm all Maple SST shell. Well-appointed with our CL Bridge Lug and smooth SR700 strainer, each Modern Utility snare is priced to allow the active working player an expanded voice, is flexible enough to add to any set-up, and strong enough to stand up to constant play.
