Offering an open, fat and furious sound, the SLP Limited Edition 14″ x 8″ Steel Snare Drum from Tama provides you with a vintage, attacking sound, that really does match up to its title!

Developed to offer an identifiable snare drum that could be pigeon holed into a specific genre or style preference, the SLP Limited Edition 14″ x 8″ Steel Snare Drum gives you punch and precision, boasting traditional and vintage undertones.

Features include a snare throw-off, a non-adjustable butt-end, ‘hold-tight’ tension rod washers and the superbly responsive Evans single-ply batters and snare heads. Its retro-style brass tube lugs and newly designed triple-flanged ‘Sound Arc’ steel hoops were specially designed for the SLP series and showcase a small, inward-facing top flange, enhancing the natural tone, yet offering a clearer tone and more responsive playability.

A tight tension is offered within this snare which requires only the slightest of tweaks to manipulate its pitch, making tuning an absolute breeze!
