Description

The Tama HS80LOW RoadPro Snare Stand is designed with Tama’s Low-Position Basket construction, allowing snare drums to be held at a lower height compared to regular stands. This is ideal for drummers who use deeper snare drums such as 8” models, or for younger children who need their snare to be lower. The Quick-Set tilter keeps itself in position using friction from six smooth metal discs instead of the regular toothed gears, allowing it to be adjusted to any desired angle. This mechanism allows for more durability and a longer lifespan. The Glide-Tite grip joint allows for a more secure attachment, using a metal to metal contact point. Since the stand does not move with the instrument, the natural resonance of the instrument is maximised. The Escape claws feature rubber cushions, allowing the snare drum to float on the basket arms, improving the resonance greatly. The rubber also softens the impact on the drummer’s arms and wrists, allowing for more comfort and longer play times.

Key Features

  • Perfect for drummers who prefer a low setting and deeper snares
  • Glide-Tite grip joint keeps instrument isolated and secure
  • Tama escape claws allow the drum to resonate freely
  • See how you can secure your snare with the Roadpro snare stand

Adapt for Any Space

The patented quick-set tilter is more durable than the conventional gear tilter and can be adjusted to any desired angle, allowing you to adapt and customise your setup for each performance space.

Featuring the Tama swivel basket with an asymmetrically spaced design, your 8 or 10 lug drums can be held without interference and with independent rotation, which gives you the versatility to place the strainer in any position needed.

Improved Resonance

The Tama escape claws rubber cushions allow the snare to ”float” on the basket arms for improved resonance whilst also helping to reduce fatigue by softening the impact on your arms and wrists.
