Floor Toms

Floor toms are low-pitched toms supported by legs or a dedicated mounting system, adding depth and a broad low-mid voice to an acoustic kit. Compare diameter and depth, shell material, bearing edges, leg brackets, hoops, heads, finishes and the available tuning range. A floor tom may be an add-on drum, a replacement shell or part of a larger kit configuration. Check the number of legs and mounting hardware, and match the drum’s sizes and finish to the existing kit if it is being added rather than bought as a complete set.
