The DW 20 Pancake Design Bass Drum is a lightweight highly transportable kick drum for the drummer looking to cut down their on-stage footprint and transport woes. Weighing just under 3kg youre not going to be dreading load-in or pack-down especially if youre playing in compact venues. The single-headed shell gives a surprisingly loud punch and prominent low end aided by the North American Maple shell.Its tone works great as a full sized kit add-on or as a replacement – it could even be used as a kick for a singer-songwriter in a Mumford and Sons style set-up! Previously not celebrated for their sturdiness the DW claw-hook spurs keep this pancake drum tall straight and steady under-foot. Able to be stored in a cymbal bag too this drum really is a travelling musicians dream!
