Unlike a standard cymbal stand the 5500 hi-hat stand features a uni-body folding footboard. This patented design keeps the footboard attached to the base casting when folded up. The lateral cymbal seat feature is a first for hi-hat stand design. This adjustable cymbal seat allows you to adjust the bottom cymbal angle to achieve your desired sound & feel. With swivel legs for easy positioning and a host of other features the DW 5000 cymbal stand is a solid long-term choice for the travelling drummer.
