Description

DW Drums Drums – Hardware Tom Stands The DW 9000 Series Single Tom Stand is crafted using extremely durable heavy gauge tubing with over-sized tube joints preventing the stand from moving whilst you play. Featuring a ball-and-socket tom arm adjustment system you can adjust freely to create an incredibly personal customisation for optimal play-ability. When compared to a regular adjustment system this DW tom stand allows you to position your tom in more positions. With memory clamps too this set up can be precisely repeated time after time. This stand ensures a solid reliable performance every time and includes an auxiliary clamp for mounting cymbals and other percussion instruments so you can explore more set-up possibilities. With the tom-arms a 1/2 diameter this stand works with any tom bracket that accepts this size – DW hardware doesnt have to stick with DW drums!

Drums

Drums are the rhythmic backbone of modern music, providing pulse, energy, and structure across countless styles and genres. From acoustic drum kits and marching drums to hand percussion and electronic systems, drums are designed to be played physically and expressively, responding directly to touch, technique, and dynamics.

Acoustic drums are built from shells, heads, and hardware that work together to shape tone, volume, and sustain. Different sizes, materials, and tunings allow drummers to create sounds ranging from deep and powerful to tight and articulate. Electronic drums expand this further by offering volume control, sound variety, and integration with recording and digital music systems.

Drums are used in live performance, recording, education, and practice, making them one of the most versatile instrument families in music. Whether played softly or with force, alone or as part of a full band, drums play a central role in driving rhythm, supporting musicians, and shaping the feel of a piece of music.
