Description

Gibraltar Hardware Bass Drums – Hardware Kick Drum Pedals Fast agile and incredibly fun to play! The Gibraltar Road Class Double Pedal is a single-chain cam drive pedal with a felt spring silencer to help eliminate pedal noise during performances. Designed from a sturdy metal plate the Road Class pedal ensures stability and durability while offering exceptional comfort and playability due to its footboard height and beater angle adjustments. This allows you to adjust the footboard to meet your desires without affecting spring tension or the beater angle. In addition to this the variable beater weight provides added balance allowing fine-tuning of the pedal by swapping out the magnet weights. The Gibraltar Road Class Pedal is easy to attach and detach from your bass drum using Gibraltars side-mount hoop. This is perfect for a quick setup and breakdown for live performances.

Drums

Drums are the rhythmic backbone of modern music, providing pulse, energy, and structure across countless styles and genres. From acoustic drum kits and marching drums to hand percussion and electronic systems, drums are designed to be played physically and expressively, responding directly to touch, technique, and dynamics.

Acoustic drums are built from shells, heads, and hardware that work together to shape tone, volume, and sustain. Different sizes, materials, and tunings allow drummers to create sounds ranging from deep and powerful to tight and articulate. Electronic drums expand this further by offering volume control, sound variety, and integration with recording and digital music systems.

Drums are used in live performance, recording, education, and practice, making them one of the most versatile instrument families in music. Whether played softly or with force, alone or as part of a full band, drums play a central role in driving rhythm, supporting musicians, and shaping the feel of a piece of music.

Bass Drum

The bass drum is the low-frequency engine of a drum kit, providing the weight and pulse that anchor the rhythm and drive the music forward. Played with a foot pedal, it works closely with the bass line to define groove and timing, with tone shaped by drum size, head choice, tuning, and muffling. From deep, resonant thumps to tight, punchy attack, the bass drum is central to the feel and impact of almost every style of music.
