The Paiste Sound Technology (PST) Range strikes the perfect balance between quality and affordability, and you get the choice of 4 series’ to suit your budget. The PST7 series sits at the higher end of the range, providing an affordable line for drummers who like a traditional look, sound and feel.

The PST7 base is CuSn8 bronze which stems from the legendary 2002 series. The overall sound is warm and clear. Perfect for whatever genres you’re into. However within this series it’s still important to choose the right cymbal for your playing style. That’s why with the PST7 series offers three weight classes to match how you play.

If you just feel like you play normally, with a mix of harder and softer sticking technique, you will want to try out the medium weight. If however you give your cymbals a regular beating for heavier styles of music, check out the heavy weight cymbals that give a bolder tone and will be more resilient to constant abuse.
