Each shell is constructed from a carefully balanced 2-ply North American birch and 2-ply North American maple formula. This ultimate blended shell although thinner in its construction delivers an authentically natural tone that comes alive on stage and in the studio. The 3mm undersized tom shells feel articulate during tom fills and offer great tuning capabilities. This design allows the drumheads to sit flatter over the bearing edge improving the tone and sustain. This is further enhanced through the drums low-profile ISO mounting sustain allowing the toms to sing with no unnecessary contact. Elite finishes arent just for aesthetics. Each finish offers unique benefits that enhance the performance of the shells. The satin finish is designed great for drummers undertaking session work in the studio. Its unlacquered design offers the purest tone for the ultimate unrestricted wood shell experience. Please Note: No hardware is included in this purchase.
