SJC Custom Drums Drums – Snares The SJC Drums Pathfinder 14 x 6.5 Snare Drum in Galaxy Grey is a versatile choice for drummers seeking a punchy responsive sound. Its 6-ply alternating maple/hybrid shell with 45 degrees bearing edges delivers a balanced tone with warmth and clarity making it ideal for various playing styles. The 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops allow for an open resonant sound while making tuning adjustments easy. The double-ended tube lugs and black tension rods ensure stability and precise tuning so you can focus on your performance without worry.Equipped with a drop-style throw-off switching the 20-strand snare wires on and off is smooth and reliable. The drum also features SJC factory heads including a 2-ply coated batter and a 1-ply clear resonant head for a balanced attack and sustain. Finished in a striking Galaxy Grey wrap with textured black hardware this snare is as stylish as it is functional.
