Description

Stagg Drums – Accessories Sticks Enhance your playing. The Stagg Maple Multi Sticks utilise a bundled rod concept to achieve a well-rounded sound suited to acoustic and quieter music styles. Drum rods provide a lighter tone than standard drumsticks whilst still being able to achieve a wider dynamic range than brushes. The Medium version of the stick is capable of producing a powerful tone during choruses whilst simultaneously reaching dynamics not achievable with a standard drumstick. The sticks have been designed using 19 maple dowels that provide a natural response on impact similar to a standard drumstick. A lightweight plastic handle has been utilised on the drumstick providing both a balanced weight and sturdy grip when performing. The maple rod material is also extremely durable perfect for frequent use.

Drums

Drums are the rhythmic backbone of modern music, providing pulse, energy, and structure across countless styles and genres. From acoustic drum kits and marching drums to hand percussion and electronic systems, drums are designed to be played physically and expressively, responding directly to touch, technique, and dynamics.

Acoustic drums are built from shells, heads, and hardware that work together to shape tone, volume, and sustain. Different sizes, materials, and tunings allow drummers to create sounds ranging from deep and powerful to tight and articulate. Electronic drums expand this further by offering volume control, sound variety, and integration with recording and digital music systems.

Drums are used in live performance, recording, education, and practice, making them one of the most versatile instrument families in music. Whether played softly or with force, alone or as part of a full band, drums play a central role in driving rhythm, supporting musicians, and shaping the feel of a piece of music.

Drum Sticks

Drum sticks are the tools that translate a drummer’s movement into sound, controlling how hard a drum or cymbal is struck and how it responds. Their weight, length, and tip shape affect volume, speed, rebound, and articulation, allowing drummers to play softly or with power, shape dynamics, and define groove and accents. The right sticks help produce clear tone, consistent timing, and expressive control across different playing styles.
