The Tom Hilbe Mo 5 is a digital tribute to the classic sound of American R&B music specifically the influential sound of Motown now seamlessly integrated into modern digital audio workstations. This plugin is modelled after the iconic 500 Series hardware and draws on components like the N.O.S. Beyer Input Transformer and the 709 Op Amp paired with a new Jensen JT-123 Output Transformer. The result is a faithfully recreated sound of the original mid-60s “Metropolitan Desk” mic-pre circuit celebrated for its rich saturated tones that shaped the hits of the Motown era. Ideal for adding depth and warmth to your mix-bus the Mo 5 plugin delivers the no-frills powerful sound that made music history.
