Woods and Construction:
The 9-ply maple shell produces a full-bodied and warm tone with lots of punch – versatile enough for a range of styles. The 14” x 6” shell size keeps the snare sounding tight with plenty of volume and depth, piercing through busy mixes with great definition. Stainless steel wires give a sensitive response, allowing you to adjust your playing dynamics without the snare compromising you.
The beautiful satin-finished Cottonwood outer shell provides a classy aesthetic, highlighted by chrome-plated hardware. This offers you a very high-end look, with only the best quality sound.
Dual Glide System:
The Dual Glide System snare strainer is a great feature of the Artist Series snares. This mechanism provides a precise and smooth action when placing the snare wires in “on” or “off” position, and ensures that there are no annoying buzzing sounds produced when doing so.
The strainer and butt sides are also both armed with a fast-release snare wire detach function. This means that you can easily change the resonant head without having to loosen and adjust the Snare wires. A very ergonomic feature indeed.

Perfect as an all-round snare drum this model features a 9 ply maple shell, a unique CM Cottonwood satin finish and die-cast chrome plated hoops. Producing a warm and full tone with a harmonic frequency, it also offers very clear attack and sensitive response due to the stainless steel wires.
