The Attack 8″ ProFlex1 1Ply Medium White Coated Drum Head is suited to drummers needing a versatile tom head for studio and stage use. Built around Attacks 10mil Dynaflex polyester film this single-ply head produces a bright crisp attack with a long open decay. That balance makes it a reliable choice whether youre playing rock pop jazz gospel funk or blues. It responds quickly at lower tunings but still holds together when pushed giving you consistent tone across different setups.The Duracoat coating adds a smooth controlled feel and is designed to bond securely to the film helping maintain an even response over time. Many players also use this coated version on the resonant side of toms where its clarity and sustain really come through. Finished with Attacks pressure-fitted steel hoop the ProFlex1 stays firmly seated under tension. The added hoop mass helps extend sustain and keep the tonal focus clear making tuning easier and more predictable.
