The snare features a shell constructed of maple to offer a balanced and singing tone with a wealth of symphonic mid to high-frequency with the incredible warmth that maple is known for. The shell is fitted with high quality brushed nickel hardware. Including high-mass zinc sun lugs and 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops consistent and reliable tuning throughout your performances is a given ensuring easy re-tuning if you decide to switch up your tone.The snare is finished with a Tri-Throw snare mechanism for three snare wire positions – on off and loose – Tru-Tone tension rods and a die-cast Natal badge. The hardware in brushed nickel looks at home with the mappa burl outer ply that provides the snare with a stunning finish. The Natal Mappa Burl Maple 13 x 7 Snare Drum provides a universal tone that is suitable for a huge range of drumming styles and genres.
