The 7.5mm 6-ply birch shell delivers a balanced focused sound with richness and fullness in tone resonance and durability while providing a bright punchy tone with quick attack good projection and shorter sustain making it ideal for cutting through mixes. This snare features a 42-strand snare wire that delivers a fuller more resonant and tonally complex snare sound compared to the more common 20 or 24-strand options. 1.5mm triple-flange drum hoops offer a more open and resonant sound that gives the drum a more natural expressive sound. Finished in an Antique Ash outer ash veneer with chrome hardware and Premiers iconic P badge this snare is a perfect addition to any drummers setup.
