The Studio 49 Nickel Plated 16 Note Diatonic Alto Glockenspiel With Mallets is ideal for music classrooms early years education and ensemble settings. It includes 16 nickel-plated steel bars each precision-made to produce bright sustained tones that support clear pitch recognition. The bars are 20 x 3mm and sit on textile-coated supports helping reduce unwanted noise and wear over time.The solid pine resonance box features multiple chambers enhancing both volume and tone richness. With f# and b bars included you can easily swap notes to suit different key signatures or classroom activities. Lightweight and compact at just 1.3kg its easy to move and store. Two mallets are included so its ready to play straight out of the box.
