Description

If you’re a musician looking to get an electric alternative to a real piano, Clavinova will be one of the first go to names for many. Having built up a reputation for quality in both sound and feel, you’ll find Clavinova pianos in a wide variety of musical settings, such as at home, in practice and performance venues and modern churches. Featuring a fantastic selection of classical piano sounds at it’s core, plus the addition of all sorts of other instruments, a Clavinova keyboard is a powerful musical instrument.

The Pianists Experience

The CVP-701 is first and foremost a piano, with a Graded Hammer action Keyboard (GH3X) with escapement and synthetic ivory keytops to give the authentic responsive feel of a real piano in an electric instrument. Sink your hands into a full chord and hear the rich sound of some of the finest concert grand pianos ever played wash past your ears and fill your living room; including the world class Yamaha CFX and Bosendorfer Imperial Grand pianos. Imagine how much money and space you would need to have a real one in your home!

A Wide Range of Voices

In addition to the fantastic standard piano sounds, the 700 series comes with a huge library of other fantastic tones, from vintage electric pianos to orchestral instruments.

It has often been difficult to “play like an instrumentalist” on a piano. However Yamaha believe they have come up with a solution using their Super-articulation technology. Using the regular expression pedals of the piano, you can add the subtle nuances of the different instruments so that they sound like the real thing. For example, when playing the Saxophone, you can add breathy articulation and pitch shift notes that you would not be able to do with a regular keyboard.

Play along with Styles

The 700 series comes with the latest version of their automatic accompaniments, that reads the chords you are playing and plays an accompaniment in your chosen style. Everything from  small jazz ensembles to full orchestras can be called to play with you as you jam along.

Learn Piano From the start

The CVP 700 series has an awesome song learning “Guide Feature” that will help you learn piano right from beginner in a fun and engaging way! Each note has a corresponding light that will glow when you need to play that certain note, so that you can just follow the notes, one light at a time. What’s awesome is that you could be playing one of the simplest melodies, and the piano will embellish your playing into a fully arranged orchestration so that you feel like you are part of a huge musical group that plays along to you!

    Drums

Drums are the rhythmic backbone of modern music, providing pulse, energy, and structure across countless styles and genres. From acoustic drum kits and marching drums to hand percussion and electronic systems, drums are designed to be played physically and expressively, responding directly to touch, technique, and dynamics.

Acoustic drums are built from shells, heads, and hardware that work together to shape tone, volume, and sustain. Different sizes, materials, and tunings allow drummers to create sounds ranging from deep and powerful to tight and articulate. Electronic drums expand this further by offering volume control, sound variety, and integration with recording and digital music systems.

Drums are used in live performance, recording, education, and practice, making them one of the most versatile instrument families in music. Whether played softly or with force, alone or as part of a full band, drums play a central role in driving rhythm, supporting musicians, and shaping the feel of a piece of music.
