Description

JustDrums are excited to introduce the Trick Drums Dominator Double Bass Drum Pedal by Bass Drums Bass Drum. Ready to be delivered to any location in the UK.

The Dominator is quickly becoming the most popular of the Trick pedals. It offers all of the functionality of the Pro 1-V and Bigfoot pedals, but with a sleeker design, a wicked black anodized finish, and a lower price.

This double pedal can be split apart into two singles which gives you the flexibility to setup your kit how you wnat it without neeeding any additional pedals.

The primary differences between the Dominator and Pro 1-V/Bigfoot are:

  • Less metal utilized, bringing weight down a bit
  • A larger, more traditional aluminum beater
  • No adjustment cluster or Slide-Trac
  • Only available as a long board

The Dominator features a Bigfoot-style 13" foot board with no heel block. The pedal rests on rails above a very thin and lightweight stainless-steel baseplate. Like other Trick pedals, the Dominator’s moving parts all ride on aerospace-grade bearings and the pedal itself is constructed from aerospace-grade billet aluminum. There are no die-cast parts here! The Dominator also features an internal compression spring and knob for easy tension adjustments.

The beater head is adjustable in the vertical position and the beater and drive cams can be adjusted to set pedal height and beater angle.

Here's What Trick Drums Say About the Dominator Double Bass Drum Pedal

Don't let the lower price fool you! The Dominator Pedals share many of the same features as the Pro1-V pedals, including One-Handed Compression Spring Adjustment and Fully Independent Split Cams for quick and easy beater and board angle adjustments. Additionally, these pedals support the SB1 Laser Trigger System, the most accurate pedal triggers on the market.

Direct Drive, coupled with aerospace tolerances, give you all the control and power you could ever need. Battle tested for years of use on the road in harsh touring environments.

Bass Drums

Bass drums provide the low-end foundation of a drum kit, delivering the power and pulse that drive rhythm and lock in with the bass line. They shape the feel and momentum of the music, from tight, punchy grooves to deep, resonant impact, making them a central part of any setup.

When choosing a bass drum, look at size, shell material, and depth, as these affect tone and response. Larger diameters offer deeper, fuller low end, while smaller sizes give quicker attack and control. Shell construction influences warmth and projection, and head choice and dampening will further shape the sound. The right bass drum should match your playing style and sit well within your overall kit sound.

Bass Drum

The bass drum is the low-frequency engine of a drum kit, providing the weight and pulse that anchor the rhythm and drive the music forward. Played with a foot pedal, it works closely with the bass line to define groove and timing, with tone shaped by drum size, head choice, tuning, and muffling. From deep, resonant thumps to tight, punchy attack, the bass drum is central to the feel and impact of almost every style of music.
